Biography
EMOTIONAL LITERACY – EMOTIONAL LOGIC
Johnathan taught for 17 years and for the last seven of those he was a senior leader. He was responsible for pupil health & wellbeing and ran a highly successful Sixth Form that was in the top 10% for results for six of the past nine years.
Johnathan specialises in working with students who are low on confidence; experience high levels of anxiety or low mood; anger management issues; or who have barriers to learning. His approach takes inspiration from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a pioneering new approach called Emotional Logic.
He helps children (and adults) untangle unpleasant emotions, discover core values and gives them tools to manage challenges based on these.
Johnathan now works as a freelance consultant with primary and secondary schools, Monmouthshire Youth Service and Virtual Schools.
He works one-to-one with clients or helps organisations embed Emotional Logic practice in their workplace.
